WVUS visit Fanteakwa North District Assembly
The World Vision United States paid the Assembly a visit on February 5, 2025. Mr. Eric Agbor, the District Coordinating Director, chaired the meeting.

Mr. Felix Apeti began the presentation by giving them a summary of Fanteakwa North, the district, the program and project (grants, PNS, and technical program), project models, Wash microfinance, and the project’s input and output.He also highlights a few achievements. Demand creation: 60191 households and 98639 individuals with DD creation. 217 loans (64 women) were granted out of 547 loan applications.98% of the loans that were disbursed were repaid. 192 loans were successfully disbursed. Loans totaling GH1051,457 ($70.97).

He summarizes a few success factors:
Demonstrational latrines in communities have increased demand for loans for sanitation

Households are scheduled in a group that guarantees each other for the loan, reducing the risk of non-payment and policy compliance

Loans are given in sequence based on client capacity to pay
Evaluation by academic institutions.
